What's better than twin boys turn two??? Twin boys turning two, dressed in Mickey outfits!! Doesn't get any cuter than this!?! I can't put into words how much FUN this party was! Jack and Garrett are twin 2 year old boys that are little nuggets of happiness. Family and friends attended this fun-filled party at the home of the birthday boys. Mickey Mouse was plastered throughout the house in every form we could! From "Mouskatools" to Mickey banners, even a life-sized Mickey to greet everyone at the door! Or to be carried around by the boys :) All food and beverages were prepared by Mom, family and friends - each with a Mickey label or shape to keep up with the theme! The cake came from a local bakery and again, had a Mickey on it. Even the gourmet popcorn had to have Mickey ribbon! I could not have been more honored to be a part of this party. Everyone was so inviting and the boys couldn't get enough of "MI-MEY"! I could watch them run around in those little outfits all day! I was even able to wear and take home a pair of my very own Mickey ears! After the bounce house and face-painting for some of the other kids, the boys were excited to be the center of attention and dig into their cake. Everyone crowded around with their cameras and phones and captured these sweet faces! Garrett (primarily green bib) is a man after my own heart. Enjoying every last drop of his dessert, he could care less how many photos were taken! hahaha Jack (primarily blue bib) was all giggles and thought it was too funny that dad wanted to try his cake! Thank you Flanagin Family for having Lucee Blue Events into your loving home!
Happy Birthday Jack and Garrett!

There once was a wee little princess that was about to turn 4. In the far away land of Northwest, Indiana; the princess was gifted a ball to celebrate her birthday. This princess' name was Charlie and her mother, the queen, made sure the castle was covered in pink and purple, just for the big day! As Princess Charlie made her way down the stairs to invite in her lovely guests, she found herself in her very own fairytale!
This party was very fun for Lucee Blue! Charlie is an absolutely adorable little girl and was extremely excited about the pink and purple elements we added to her day. Most children have birthday parties at home, and often we find that parents just want a way to make that day a little more special with detail and design. Lucee Blue was able to put together large tulle skirts for both the head table and mouth watering sweets table. Each table was given a centerpiece with jewels and a crown on top of flowers. The sweets table was FULL of candy, cupcakes, cake pops, rice krispie wands and more! Since this was a princess themed party, our favorite detail was the Disney princess ribbon tied around the birthday cake flavored popcorn! Every child was given a crown and wand as they anxiously awaited the REAL princesses that were making an appearance at the party! Instead of store bought banners, Lucee blue handmade Charlie's 'Happy Birthday' banner with some ribbon, cardstock and letter stickers. We also thoroughly enjoyed making the large glitter 4, constructed and glittered all by hand. Thank you for letting us be a part of your fairytale, Charlie! Happy Birthday! Blog post #1! I am so glad that you stopped by the site and decided to take a look at some of my work. I decided to lump together some previous work to give you a small glimpse into why this is my passion. I've spent years of my life knowing that I wanted an education, but didn't necessarily knowing what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Throughout my years of indecisive and expensive education, the one constant I had was my creativity. Finally, after exploring the hospitality industry, I found the light. I decided to go back to school and obtain a Hospitality Administration degree, where I completed an internship with a local wedding planner. I fell in love quicker than I thought possible! Through that internship I realized my need for creativity and love for organization could come together. I finally found what I was MEANT to do. So, I came up with Lucee Blue Events and I am diving head first into every opportunity I am given. I have an incredible support system and everyone involved continues to give me chances to showcase my talent. Prior to the 2015 wedding season, I created a few birthday parties and baby showers. Take a look at some tidbits from those events! Wild West 3rd Birthday Party: Couldn't get enough "boy" elements into this baby shower: Incredible fun and delicious waffle bar at a bridal shower: Short and sweet for now, but keep your eyes peeled for Lucee Blue Events' next blog - the Albritton wedding! |
